Mr. Manas Agarwal is the Director and has experience in E.P.C. and Off-shore Oil & Gas industry. He had started his career as a trainee and has worked his way up to Top Management. After completing his Master Degree in Management, he has worked in different areas of the group including Operation, Finance and Strategy.
Chief Executive Officer
William joined Dynamic Mining in November 2019 as Chief Executive Officer with more than 25 years of experience in the mining industry with extensive expertise in exploration, licensing, project development, financing, acquisitions, closure and disposal, operations management and human performance.
Prior to joining Dynamic Mining, William was the Chief Commercial Officer / Senior Vice President Early Stage Studies and Exploration of Cupric Africa in Botswana where he developed the project portfolio, associated exploration programs and project lifecycle management. Prior to this, he held various roles as VP and SVP at Mubadala Investment Company (United Arab Emirates), including Chief Executive Officer of Guinea Alumina Corporation (GAC).
He began his career in the Mining industry at AngloGold before moving to De Beers (Namdeb Diamond Corporation, Cullinan Diamond Mine and DBCM head office) where he held operations, projects and business development roles.
William holds a Master’s in Mining Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand and a Master’s in Business Administration from the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria.
Chief Financial Officer
Marius joined Dynamic Mining in January 2020 as Chief Financial Officer with more than 30 years’ experience and extensive expertise in finance, supply chain management, business improvement, feasibility studies, economic evaluation and optimization.
Prior to joining Dynamic Mining, Marius was the Regional Financial Controller of Glencore Copper Africa where he optimized the African Copper mining assets of the company with specific focus and active involvement in the turnaround strategy of Mopani Copper Mines in Zambia. He held the role of Finance Manager, Operations in Mopani Copper Mines prior to his appointment in the Glencore regional role.
Marius began his career in the Construction industry with various finance roles in the Babcock Africa group before moving into the Metallurgical industry with Samancor Ferrochrome. This was followed by extensive roles in the Steel and Mining industry at Arcelor Mittal South Africa, SAP implementation at BHP Billiton, followed by key financial and senior management roles in the Aveng Group in South Africa and Metorex copper mining operations in the DRC.
Marius holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Northwest University in South Africa as well as a B.Com Accounting degree from the University of Pretoria, South Africa.
An accomplished Geo-mining professional with more than 20 years of experience in mining industry handling a wide range of disciplines including Resource & Business development, Mine bidding process, Project evaluation & acquisition, Mine development and also in large scale O/C operational metalliferous mine. Expertise in handling resource development for metalliferous and coal commodities & project management from assessing feasibility to planning & monitoring on site activities & final execution of mining projects with process improvements, cost optimization, safety, environmental implementation and regulatory compliance. He has previously worked for Topworth Group, Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd (JSW Group), Ashapura Minechem Ltd (Ashapura Group), Sesa Goa Ltd (Vedanta Group) in various capacities. He is a Recognised Qualified Person (RQP) for the Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM), and a lifetime member of the Mining Engineers Association (MEAI), Society of Geoscientists & Allied Technologists (SGAT), Mineral & Metal Association (MEMA) of India and holds a PG Diploma in Business Administration.
Deputy General Manager
Demba joined Dynamic Mining in September 2019 as Deputy General Manager with more than 30 years of experience within mining industry in construction of civil engineering structures and port infrastructure, maintenance and administration.
Prior to joining Dynamic Mining, Demba was the director/deputy-coordinator of ANAIM in Kamsar in charge of mining infrastructures operated under concession by Compagnie des Bauxites de Guinée (CBG) (rail road, port, hospital, land and facilities) where he participated in the agreements of maritime installation with the biggest mining companies in Guinea (Guinea Alumina Corporation (GAC) and CBG). He was also a member of the rail multi-users technical committee for ANAIM mining infrastructures (CBG, GAC, COBAD/RUSAL and ANAIM).
He began his career in the mining industry at Office des Bauxites de Kindia, before moving to public administration and then CBG in various technical and managerial capacities.
Demba holds Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Bradley University, Illinois - USA. He is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Pennsylvania Society of Professional Engineers (PSPE), and American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM).
Karl joined Dynamic Mining in September 2019 as Project Manager with more than 40 years of experience as a Projects and Construction Director with a portfolio of successfully completed multi-billion Dollar projects. In October 2019, Karl was appointed as the chairman of the Dynamic Mining, Bon Ami Project Development Committee.
Karl brings an extensive experience in project evaluation and budget management analysis, EPCM contractor management, HSE implementation, multinational team building and management across China, UK, East Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia and Central America, predominantly in mining, petrochemical, and infrastructure works.
Prior to joining Dynamic Mining, Karl was the Project Director of the IRC & MGS Project Consultantancy engaged on Baffinland Iron Ore project in Canada, the Tambao Manganese project development in Burkina Faso; and KRK LNG Terminal project in Croatia. Prior to this, he held various roles as Projects Director in Pan African Minerals, African Minerals, Bechtel, WorleyParsons and other international organizations.
He began his career in the mining industry at Anglo American Corporation in Zambia as a Project Engineer.
Karl holds a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and an HND in Mechanical Engineering. Karl is a Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation as well as the American Society of Civil Engineers as a Professional Engineer.
Mohamed Talhaoui joined Dynamic Mining on January 1, 2020 as Vice President - HSSEC, bringing with him his extensive expertise in Health, Safety, Security, Environment & Social Responsibility and more than 16 years of experience in the mining industry and West Africa where he participated to the development to major world class projects financed by IFC.
He began his career with Rio Tinto Alcan in France as a H&S Advisor and then held various management positions in mining companies in West Africa including BHP Billiton, CBG JV Rio Tinto Alcan / Alcoa, IAMGOLD and Guinea Alumina Corporation (GAC).
Prior to joining Dynamic Mining, Mohamed was the Senior E&S and Permitting Manager at Alliance Mining Commodities (AMC).
Mohamed holds a Master’s degree majoring in Health, Safety & Environment from the Reims Sciences University - France.
Caroline joined Dynamic Mining in November 2019 as Vice-President - Human Capital, bringing with her more than 8 years of experience in Human Resources including 6 years within international construction and mining companies in Africa where she obtained significant expertise in fast-track construction projects, Human Resources system implementation and Industrial Relations management.
Prior to joining Dynamic Mining, Caroline was the Human Resources Manager of Endeavour Mining - Construction Services where she successfully supported Hounde and Ity projects which were both completed on time, within budget and without a lost time injury.
She began her career in the mining industry at IAMGOLD ESSAKANE Ltd in Burkina-Faso before moving to SOGEA SATOM - Vinci Construction in Equatorial Guinea and then to Glencore - Mutanda Mining in Democratic Republic of Congo in various capacities.
Caroline holds a Master’s degree majoring in International Human Resources Management from the University of Law of Angers - France.
External Relations Manager
Ms. Barry is a Guinea national with over 10 years' experience managing government relationships, at national and regional levels. She has extensive experience in planning, developing and implementing public relations strategies, including managing external relations with local communities, NGOs, local media and other stakeholders. She previously worked for DSVCO (National Directorate for Conakry City), Conforma Institute and Radio Nako Fm. She holds a Bachelors in Translation & Business.
